
In an unsurprising twist, the Golden Globes decided not to have a show this year, due to the threat of picketing writers and actors who plan on being outside the show. The results will now be provided at a news conference on Sunday. This may actually be somewhat of a good thing - now we don’t have to watch hours of bad jokes in order to see what wins which award.
Though it would have been nice to see the tension between those involved with No Country for Old Men and There Will Be Blood. Both amazing films, each nominated for Best Picture (Dramatic), worthy of the award. Now we’ll skip the tension and find out through the news wires.
