Commentary: Live Free or Die Hard

December 12th, 2007 by Michael Ferraro

Prepare yourself for the longest Bronsonfive commentary ever… over 2 hours of B5 goodness! And since this episode is the longest episode ever, we decided to reward one lucky listener. Listen closely for a chance to win a super-sweet prize!

The internet exploded with hatred when Fox released the PG-13 rating for their new Die Hard flick, even though every other entry in the franchise was rated R. Who wants a kinder, gentler, John McClane? Then the reviews came pouring in from fanboys everywhere, and amazingly, the word of mouth was mostly positive. What? James Gregory likes it, Michael Ferraro doesn’t. So check it out and hear the conflict in this week’s B5 commentary.

    Mike and James,

While listening to your lively commentary of “Live Free or Die Hard,” I think you dropped about 211 f-bombs in 2 hours. Gotta be a record. But I still don’t know if I should watch it, with all the insanity going on. Too bad Brian Cox isn’t in it. “Irish Mist?” What the fuck is that? I’m Irish and I’ve never heard of it. Especially with James trying to guess which movie Powers Booth was in (don’t forget “Red Dawn”) or wasn’t in. By the way, do a commentary on Star Wars 2, since we all agree on how horrible that flick is. I think Powers Booth was in that, too.

That’s how we roll Jim. Thanks for listening! It’s good to know you can still hear our voices.
